Objectives of the program
The general objective of the graduate program is to produce a community-based task oriented high caliber professionals in health systems management.
Specific objectives
· To train health systems management specialists who will provide critical leadership, management and ensure ethical governance to achieve sustainable improvement in health systems.
· To develop health systems management specialist capable of planning, organizing, leading and controlling of health programs, health projects , health service organizations and health systems.
· To build up health systems management specialists who can produce and analyze health policy and program.
· To produce health systems management specialists at every level of the health system who can initiate and manage the monitoring and evaluation of health programs and projects.
· To develop health systems management specialists who undertake applied research in health system.
· To develop health systems management specialists capable of using new technologies to achieve goals of the health systems.
· To train health systems management specialists who can play a role of health development leadership in Ethiopia, Africa and elsewhere in the globe.
